Valarie + Ian | Atlanta Wedding at The Brumby House
Happy Throw Back Thursday! In an effort to catch up on my blogging, I’m please to present you with weddings and engagement sessions that I could not blog for a multitude of reasons! Haha! Don’t judge me! As an Atlanta wedding photographer, it is rare that I get to travel out side of the south, much less the country! I just have to share this gorgeous wedding with you guys even if it’s a few months late ;-)
. . . . . . . .
Last year, I met Valarie and Ian. Both are lawyers in Toronto Canada and they met while in Law School. Valarie is from right here in Marietta GA, and when it was time for she and Ian to tie the knot, she thought, where else then her hometown. Valarie and Ian were married at Transfiguration Church and celebrated their marriage at The Brumby House & Gardens in Marietta Ga, but not before we had a visit in Toronto! I had never been to Canada before and they really showed me all the sights! Dundas Square and the CN Tower, just to name a few, were my favorite spots! Coming back to Marietta, they collected a small group of family and very close friends for their ceremony and reception. I loved this wedding because it was exactly what they wanted, a marriage. Here are some highlights from their their wedding last June!
Congrats to Valarie + Ian! Hope you are still reliving this beautiful day as much as I am! :D
[…] Ashley and Craig got married on this gorgeous piece of Tennessee land that belonged to some of their family. It was wide and open what a little shabby cabin in the back that over looked a lake. It is has a huge covered patio on the top of the hill but what it was missing was the stage that they would be married on. The few months before their wedding, Craig, his brother and family, with the help of Ashley HAND.MADE. the stage. Everything you see in these picture was put there by them. They hand-cut and placed that ceremony site together board for board! It was amazing! Not to mention, their bridal party! HA! Everyone one of them childhood friends or siblings. This group was so tight-knit and it made the whole day run smoothly. Everyone was there for these two and that’s what makes the BEST bridal parties! After the wedding, all of them camped out in campers and cabins and partied into the wee-hours of the morning. It was so refreshing to travel outside of Atlanta to be the wedding photographer for this amazing couple! Here are a few of my favorite moments! Also, be sure to check out my last blog here! […]
